Its similar to current thread topic groups here…
only difference is, only you 3 can see it because its private lounge. So feel free to have private discussion there if you like.
So as said you can create a topic or challenge you wish to launch at a specific time and can hide it there by sending it there first to keep it private
After which, ( at the bottom where you see topic controls) to left tap the wrench 
and options like topic timer can set auto publish to public
Also with the shield 
you have,
It means your privileges have been increased, you are trusted amongst your peers and you have been given moderator rank access so means you can do more things now
